Lambourne End Outdoor Centre

Jack Petchey Achievement Award Scheme

The Jack Petchey Achievement Award Scheme is a programme now running in approximately 2,000 schools, colleges and youth organisations throughout London and Essex, including here at Lambourne End Centre!.

The Achievement Award Scheme enables us to recognise, reward and celebrate the achievements of our young people. Jack Petchey wants young people to raise their aspirations, make a contribution to their society and believe in themselves. Achievement Awards are designed to recognise a wide range of achievement, it is not just about being clever, or gifted, but about putting the effort in and doing your best. The scheme works well because young people themselves are involved in nominating and selecting the winner.

The winner receives a framed certificate, pin badge and 200 to spend on a project Lambourne End Centre!
